The Riviera Terrace at The Royal, Ventnor, Isle of Wight, is undoubtedly one of the best al fresco eating destinations on the south coast.
Perched high on the cliff top, overlooking Ventnor Bay, the Terrace boasts stunning views across the unspoilt English Channel. The unique micro-climate of the garden isle allows sub-tropical plants to flourish in abundance imparting a distinctly Mediterranean flavour.
There are many eating options including picnic hampers, tiffin boxes, lunches and evening mezze - guests will be able to pick and choose from a variety of dishes. The menus, created by Chef Alan Staley, features seafood landed directly from the beach below – making it the perfect setting for a lobster lunch.
