The Hambrough Bar & Terrace
Lunch and afternoon tea are served daily in the relaxed setting of the Hambrough Bar or our beautiful, Colonial-style conservatory and terrace with its backdrop of rare, pink, climbing mountain geraniums.
The Royal Set menu is a great way to experience delicious modern British cooking amid elegant surroundings. Dishes include spring vegetable risotto, local asparagus, parmesan cheese or our posh fish and chips: beer battered local cod fillet, three times cooked chips, lemon and tartare sauce. The menu is available Monday - Saturday 12.30pm - 1.45pm.
The Terrace is the perfect spot to watch night fall over a long cocktail or aperitif while you admire the views over the magnificent, floodlit gardens. By day enjoy an al fresco lunch. Choose from the lighter stars of the menu; or book the finest Afternoon Tea in England. Emily Harris our highly acclaimed pastry chef creates a heavenly selection of miniature pastries and cakes including: chocolate éclairs, light-as-air Victoria sandwich and strawberry meringues.
